Christina is an ILD Managing Attorney providing consultation and legal representation to individuals through ILD’s Legal-Education partnerships within the California Community College system, a unique program that provides immigration legal services to students and community members at over thirty Community Colleges throughout the state of California.

EXPERIENCE Over the course of her career, she has represented clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the Ninth Circuit. She has also represented many clients in Federal District Court, filing mandamus lawsuits against the U.S. government. She has particular expertise in asylum cases, employment- and family-based immigration applications, naturalization, hardship and criminal waivers, consular processing, and representing victims of abuse, crimes, and human trafficking. Christina is appointed counsel in the National Qualified Representative Program (NQRP), representing individuals who have been determined by the immigration court to be unable to represent themselves due to mental health disabilities, and serves as Of Counsel to the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) for their pro bono asylum cases. She has leveraged her expertise to serve as a mentor attorney for various immigrant-serving legal organizations throughout California, including for the pro bono asylum program of the Lawyer's Committee for Civil Rights. Named a Northern California Super Lawyer in 2021, 2022, and 2023, Christina has served as the EOIR Co-Liaison to the San Francisco Immigration Court for the Northern California Chapter of AILA. Currently, she sits on the Bar Association of San Francisco Padilla Panel, which consults with criminal defense attorneys on immigration consequences for non-citizens.

EDUCATION Christina holds a B.A. in Economics from Barnard College and a J.D. from King Hall, UC Davis School of Law. She is a member of the California bar and speaks conversational Korean.
