Julianna is an ILD Managing Attorney supporting our Legal-Education partnership with the Oakland Unified School District, a unique program that provides direct representation to K-12 students and families in removal proceedings.

EXPERIENCE Julianna also represents clients before state and immigration courts in her private practice. She has spent her career as an advocate for immigrant families and youth, helping them navigate California state and federal immigration systems. Julianna has a particular focus on Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases and has extensive experience in California superior courts before USCIS and at the San Francisco Immigration Court. Before opening her own practice, Julianna was an associate at a civil litigation firm in Oakland. She previously worked as a research attorney for the Michigan Court of Appeals, where she was recognized for her distinguished service.

EDUCATION Julianna holds a BA from Wayne State University in History and Romance Languages and a JD from Wayne State University Law School and is a member of the California and Michigan bars.
