SENIOR LEGAL ASSISTANT
Kathryn is an ILD Senior Legal Assistant supporting ILD’s litigation efforts and providing legal support to individuals in immigration detention. Kathryn joined ILD with extensive experience as a legal assistant in administrative, federal, and international courts.
EXPERIENCE Before joining ILD, she worked at the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) in Texas as a Legal Assistant, a pro bono coordinator in their Family Detention program, and a Senior Legal Assistant in the organization’s litigation program. Driven by ethics, she prides herself in maintaining a client’s best interest at all times.
EDUCATION Kathryn holds an M.S. in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University and a B.S. in Political Science from Abilene Christian University. She is fluent in Spanish.
